The Wheelhouse Pottery studio is a welcoming, creative, and supportive space for all, from curious first-timers through to experienced potters. Grounded in the belief that working with clay can be both an artistic journey and a path to well-being, you are encouraged to find the meditative rhythm in the wheel, to turn off the noise of everyday life, and quietly focus on working with your hands and heart.
With six potter’s wheels, an electric kiln, a wide selection of tools, and a vibrant palette of glazes and underglazes, the studio has everything you need to explore clay and its endless possibilities.
The Wheelhouse Pottery Studio, founded and run by Lucinda Wakeham, can be found on the outskirts of St Helier at First Tower, opposite the beach.
Lucinda’s ceramic work focuses on the ancient firing technique, Raku. Her ceramics can be found on display and for purchase at The Wheelhouse or via www.lucindawakeham.com
